Beaufort Rowing Club
Stimulating Sunrise Therapy
The mission of Beaufort Rowing Club (BRC) is to actively make rowing available to the community regardless of background, ability, or experience.
We are a growing group dedicated to bringing the sport of rowing to the Lowcountry. Our membership includes people who express their interest in an extremely satisfying and fun experience on the water. The Club offers the unique opportunity to enjoy friendship, building teamwork while improving individual fitness. No prior rowing experience is required; we offer classes to provide the skills and confidence to join others on the crew.
The members of the Beaufort Rowing Club come from various walks of life. What began as a loosely knit association of people with a shared interest in rowing has grown over the years. In 2010, the Beaufort Rowing Club formalized itself by chartering with the state of South Carolina and filing for a federal tax-exempt status.
Membership ranges in age from 20’s to 80’s and continues to welcome new members of all ages. As we continue to grow we love seeing the excitement and increased visibility for the Club, as well as the overall promotion of rowing in the Lowcountry.
Our club rows three days a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, from 7-8:30am. In addition to weekly rows, we are a community of friends. We get together for club events throughout the year to include a spring gathering, a holiday gathering, an annual boat wash and equipment day, among others.
Rowing
Our favorite place to be is on the water!

We enjoy getting together off the water too.
Community Service
In addition to rowing, our club loves to give back to the Beaufort community.
